being a modern take on a traditional Nordic design, with 5in. clip-point blade formed from six variegated panels of differing damascus, the two central panels themselves formed from a further nine damascus billets each and including various examples of ladder, twist and starburst designs, carved finger notch at forte repeated on the blue-stained fossilised birch burl hilt, itself mounted with an inlet circular white-metal escutcheon carved with geometrics filled alternately with black and red fill and in turn off-set within a carved circular surround, the birch burl separated from the scrimshawed fossilised mammoth tusk hilt by a central section of scrimshawed buffalo horn bordered with twin white-metal bands with central red and black lines, carved complex buffalo horn pommel with central aperture for lanyard, complete with its moulded and embossed close fitting leather sheath mounted with scrimshawed panels of reindeer bone and integral loose belt-loop with bone fastener
